Xiaolou Cafe Sabang

During our stay in Sabang, we decided to visit Xiaolou for a drink. The staff was very friendly and the drinks were affordable. The restaurant also had a large TV screen showing sports programs for entertainment. Although we didn't try any of the food, the dishes we saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious.

During my nearly 4-week stay in Sabang, I dined at several restaurants and for me, dining out is not just about eating. Xiaolou impressed me especially with the best steak, which is offered everywhere but unfortunately not mastered by most. The Tenderloin Steak here was truly cooked medium and not well done, it was not over-beaten before cooking to make it a bit tender, the meat was actually top quality. It was also a good 3-5cm thick, not just 1-2cm. And all of this at a great price, lower than the cheaper providers, but much cheaper (less than half the price) than the top steak houses in Sabang. In addition to several steaks, I also tried the pizzas, the pan-fried gyro with homemade tzatziki, and the schnitzel during my time there, all top-notch and more than fairly priced. Dear Didi, thank you for the enjoyable hours in your establishment, keep up the great work, and best regards to your wife, the diligent chefs and assistants in the kitchen who unfortunately are not praised and seen enough, and of course the amazing waitstaff, who alone stand out with their visual presence, and made every visit a highlight of the evening.

Decent food and very friendly staff! They have a big projection TV and it’s one of my favorite spots to eat in Sabang. It’s located right across from White Tip Dive Shop, formerly known as Divers Cafe. It’s a great place to sit and people-watch.

From it's former name Diver's Cafe to its present name, nothing changed: I love their food. My Dutch husband also love their menu, especially their pasta and pizza. I super love their fried chicken! We don't mind even it is a bit pricey but it's worth it. From Filipino dishes to International menu. The staff and crew are very friendly. This place is not only for drinks, but one of the best in Sabang for their foods.

Vorab, ich habe mich zwar informieren können, aber dass was ich angetroffen habe hat diese Vorabinformationen vollends übertroffen. Ein sehr gut ausgestattetes Resto mit Top Service und meine Sonderwünsche wurden mir ohne Murren unkompliziert und mit sehr guter Qualität umgesetzt. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Pizzen. Frisch und sehr reichhaltig belegt. Getränkeauswahl der eines deutschen Restaurants gleich zu setzen. Didi als Inhaber ist steht`s immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehend und hält sein Business voll unter Kontrolle.Im Ergebnis, ich werde wieder kommen und empfehle jeden der dieses Urlaubsziel besucht der muss hier einmal gewesen sein.
