Moonlight Teahouse - Pinellas Park

Omg...all I can say! I fo t like the crunchy black floating seeds. But otherwise really great dtink!!

This place is adorable! I had the lavender tea while my friend enjoyed an avocado dish, and we both absolutely loved it! The barista was incredibly kind and didn’t mind that we took countless pictures and had many questions about the menu. I highly recommend this spot for studying, thanks to its lovely atmosphere.

*Update:* They've now added the option to choose your sugar and sweetness levels. *Update:* The dining area has reopened after the lockdown. The place is always clean, and since most people seem to be ordering takeout, social distancing for dine-in isn't an issue. However, they've increased the price of all sandwiches by 50 cents due to a meat shortage, which I haven’t seen at other places. You'll have to judge for yourself on that one. The drinks and sandwiches are decent, but the fried rice was disappointing. It’s essentially a thin layer of scrambled egg at the bottom with white rice on top and meat served on the side. To me, that’s not really fried rice. Overall, the prices here feel a bit high, and I wish I had just walked to the next store to get much better fried rice.

This is one of the few decent boba places in town. The tea is good and freshly brewed, but I’m deducting a star for being stingy with the cheese foam (I do pay extra for that). Customer service could also use some improvement; a simple smile when greeting customers would go a long way. On a positive note, the basil chicken nuggets are delicious! Overall, the food and drinks are great.

The boba and popping boba here are excellent! The sandwiches can be a bit tough, but they still make for a satisfying meal. (The sandwich shown in the picture is beef.)
