Congas Cuban Cuisine - Pineville

It's like I'm back in Miami (aka North Cuba). Authentic Cuban Beverages!! The owners treat everyone like family. We have to try to do this weekly.

What a gem! We're originally from Miami, and after moving here, we really missed home—the food, the people, and the culture. This restaurant has completely erased that feeling of homesickness. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is fantastic. You have to try the HOUSE MOJITO; it’s incredible! Once you have one in hand, make sure to sit at the Domino table and play a game or two. The owners are incredibly welcoming, making you feel like you’re part of the family rather than just a customer. This place is truly our home away from home, and I wish them all the success in the world because it’s an amazing Cuban addition to Charlotte.

Yesterday, I dined with six adults and two children. The server was nice, but I found her to be less attentive than I had hoped. My main dish was good, but the thicker part was pink, so I had to send it back. I appreciated that you halved my bill in response. I also asked for a dessert to go, but that was forgotten. Since it wasn't on my check, I requested it for free, but I wasn't able to settle the bill as planned. My black bean soup lacked flavor, and when I mentioned it, they removed it from the bill. The rice and beans were just beans. My friends said the appetizers were good. I had bread pudding with guava, which was enjoyable but not exceptional. Overall, I probably won’t return, as there are too many other restaurants to try.

The food is incredible! The atmosphere is fantastic, making for a delightful dining experience. It reminds me of my time in Miami. I'm so glad to have this restaurant in our area!

This place is amazing! I always heard good things about it, so I had to look at it myself. The entire staff was attentive and the atmosphere is great. All are friendly and let you feel very welcome and at home. The owners were also there and made a point to get to the table. It's not just your waitress or waitress, but every single person made sure we had everything we needed. The Cuban sandwich was the best I had in a very long time. Must also try the appetizer sampler! Oh, my! Everything was cooked for perfection. Will this place definitely make one of my spots :
