The Butchers Pub Pineville

Food and service was top notch when they first opened. Last two times recently was not. Service terrible- only saw server 3 times. Once to order, again to bring food, and lastly to bring the bill. I paid hefty for a drink with no refills. The food was cold and very small portions for the price. $160 for 4 people of last two visits. I will not be returning.

Burger not fresh dry as dirt, they forgot the cheese no dressing, the chicken wraps were all wrap and no chicken, the fried pickles were swimming in grease, the wait staff was very poor! Way way over priced! Won’t be back, ever!???Food: 1/5

We ordered carry out. They were out of two main entrees (bbq and hamburger) but we settled on alternates. The food was ready in a reasonable amount of time but we weren’t given any of the condiments we ordered or utensils. Even the pretzel came without the cheese/mustard that it is listed with on the menu. The grilled chicken and fish had a good flavor, pub fries were very good but the green beans were bland.

Stopped in after a hike to chained rock, nice pub atmosphere, it was not busy at 2:00pm, one person eating at the bar but saw a few takeout customers stop by. Waitress/ bar tender very friendly, recommended a local brewery beer called Shotgun Wedding which was very good. I had a Rueben and fries, sandwich was not bad, the pub fries were the star of the show, perfectly crisp and seasoned outside and tender inside, big chunky bits! My friend ordered an open faced sandwich which looked substantial with meat and gravy piled on top of mashed potatoes. This looks like a fun place to come for live music, I would dine here again.

We visited the area for the Laurel Cove music festival in June. We are here one day before heading to the festival. We enjoyed our food and drinks. Server was personable and attentive.
