This was a wild ride and I'm a bit too tired to explain in depth so here's a quick review. Service was fine, food ranged from never touching again to surprisingly good and this isn't a barbeque restaurant. Mac and cheese was the best they had (it's better than most everyone else's); both fish were flaky and fresh tasting, much to our surprise; cole slaw was basted, soaked, dusted, mixed and seasoned with sugar; they don't serve real barbeque; Fievel goes west must have been shot here because his cousin is still around. Farcry from previous owners I'm sad to say.

The mac and cheese and fish fry are both acceptable, but this isn't a barbecue restaurant. During my last visit, there was also a rat issue, so I would advise against spending your time or money here. I’ve ate here many times over the Decades! Don’t confuse them with the Historic Ridgewood BBQ that’s nearby! Anyway this place does have great servers and Huge proportions on a pulled pork platter it will feed a 3 people! Depending on when you come Can be hit or miss with quality but they do have some good BBQ and Ribs also serve beer and have homemade deserts! Also Blue Cheese Dip is pretty good! Definitely worth a try around lunch time is the best and freshest time to get in there! They also have a Buffet as well!

Food was really good, but our server, Amy Mosier, was fabulous!!! She never missed a beat with refills, checking on us, we never had to ask for anything. She was funny and had us laughing, too.
