Contribuisci feedbackThe restaurant has a lovely setting and ambiance, but the dining experience was very disappointing. The meal did not match the description on the menu, with cold and overcooked steak and frozen mixed vegetables. It seemed like most, if not all, of the food was precooked and partially reheated. Additionally, the lemon wedges served with the fish appeared to have been reused. I provided feedback to the waiter, who promised to bring the manager to speak with us, but no one ever came.
Twenty-two years ago, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. We also had our wedding reception here, so we thought it would be nice to revisit. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the average food. The green pesto did not have any macadamia crumble on it, only some chopped tomatoes, and whole macadamias on top, not even broken or roasted. My husband was not impressed with his chicken carbonara, saying that I cook a better version at home and I am not even a cook. The pizza dough rolls as appetizers were also not enjoyable, with a dipping sauce that was only passata with a blob of melted cheese. The creme brulee did not have the crispy topping that is the highlight of this dessert. Even my husband, who does not smoke, was disappointed. The location and ambiance are beautiful, but the food could be so much better. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
This cozy little restaurant has a fantastic bush setting and a very laid-back atmosphere. The service is friendly and unhurried, with live music adding to the experience. The menu offers a variety of fresh and tasty dishes at reasonable prices. They even have a jetty where you can park your boat. I will definitely be returning soon.
Pinjarra bakery cakes are great and much cheaper. we bought this on the way to home. better than the disgusting eating that redcliffe on the murray served. they should not have so low standards. absolute müll. a group of seven traveled one and. half an hour to eat at this place. two meals were served after a 40-minute waiting period. that were blt’s. they were reasonable. after an hour and 15 minutes asked when the rest of the order came, and they told us that it was displaced at this moment. another hour waiting so that 2 hours and 15 minutes we asked where the meals were. they scrubbed around the search for the dockets with our orders and told us that a meal was not on the order, despite the proof of the payment via bank card. Finally, 2 hours and 40 minutes later the meals came. two spaghetti carbonaras with garnel, which is a sweat, one in a court prawn, four in the other. looks like a slutty stew to the pasta undercooked and unpredictable. fish and chips were gum-like, like the two pfeffer dishes. we went without eating the mice and should have asked for a full refund.
Friendly waitress but after order was taken we waited one hour for our entree of five spring rolls to be delivered. If we hadn’t prepaid we would have walked out. Main courses were below average. The barramundi was overcooked and dry. It was placed on...a very large serve of potato gratin perhaps to compensate for the small piece of fish. The spaghetti marinara was inedible. A very strong bitter sauce with very small pieces of fish, a couple of rubbery squid rings and three very small mussels. My husband could not eat it. When I talked to the chef he was very defensive and refused to accept that there was anything wrong with the dish suggesting it was my problem. I demanded a refund which was promptly given.
