Unfortunately, our actual experience was somewhat less than desirable. on the pleasant side, outside in the evening on a central square of the historic center of piranhas. is a very charming environment when they are arranged, surrounded by points of other sisterish diners. to the happiness, at least the day we were there, we did not find a single smoker anywhere in the place during our entire meal. Our beer arrived quickly and was extremely cold, a welcome film against the dipping dry warmth of the interior of sergipe. on the negative side when our meal arrived after a considerable waiting, the fish was hard, terrible fibrous, and extremely difficult to chew. Therefore we gave up to eat the fish, and consumed the steamed vegetables, which was acceptable when a little embarrassing. we had the same fish in another restaurant in piranhas the following day and found it perfectly cooked, so we know that the problem we had with the fishing in oldmar dutra was the debt of the restaurant, and not with the fish themselves (surubim.) in short, if they want a charming place to have a beer, this place would be good, but if they want a good meal somewhere.
Very good local dishes, like fish from the neighboring sao francisco river. the terrace is located on the main square in the heart of the village, and excellent for romantic restaurants. service is friendly. most main dishes serve 2 people who have a reasonable price....Good cachaças and beer. the caipirinha is one of the cheapest I am in Brazil, but substandard: bitter (alt) lime and watery (too little cachaça.)
We went twice into this restaurant for diner. we enjoyed the wine from the rio sao francisco valley and tried typical pastel de charque,) sushi and risotto. everything was good, good prices, friendly staff and live music. I really recommend it.
Poor service. we ordered juice without sugar, but they brought with sugar. long wait to pay the bill. the atmosphere is beautiful.
