Splash Café - PISMO BEACH

We had heard about this place and stopped in for some clam chowder. The line was exceptionally long, so we placed an order online and stopped by when it was ready. This paid off well and saved some standing in line. That being said, I'd stand in the line if it was the only way to get that clam chowder. It was incredible. It's so good, in fact, that we stopped by again 2 days later on our way south. They usually talk about new England and Manhattan style chowder, which is funny, I've had chowder on the east coast, and the west coast beats it, hands down. The stuff at Splash is one of the best I've ever had. Well worth the stop

Lobster sandwich and bowl of chowder. Chowder is definitely up there with the best. A super creamy soup, with plenty of clam, clam flavor and potatoes. Soup almost tastes like melted cheese in a good way. Lobster roll was good too and a generous portion. Only wish was the roll was toasted.

Nothing short of the best Chowder bread bowls on the planet!!!!

Bomb clam chowder must have when i come here. However, line is always too long and the wait is long too. Spend like one hour to 2 hour waiting here for take out most times.
