Drummonds - Pitlochry

Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the lady behind the bar. She informed us that there was a table available, graciously showed us to our seats, and handed us the menu to help us decide what to eat. We opted to go all out and chose the three-course high tea for a very reasonable price of £14. The lentil soup was the best we've ever tasted—better than my grandmother's! This was followed by freshly cooked fish and chips, which were absolutely delightful. We were also served a pot of tea and a pot of coffee, leaving us utterly satisfied. After our meal, we almost had to force ourselves to walk to the theater! This restaurant is definitely a great spot for generous portions of freshly prepared food. We enjoyed our experience so much that we even talked about making a return trip to Pitlochry just to eat here again. I would rate it a solid 20 out of 10! A big compliment to the chef for such a first-class meal, and the service was prompt, polite, and welcoming. This place definitely deserves your attention!

Last night, we visited this restaurant again after an earlier trip, and it was just as wonderful as before. The staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. It's a lovely little place that definitely deserves a visit. Plus, the prices are reasonable. I can't wait to bring others here!

We dined here over two nights. On the first night, I had the calamari and chips, while my partner enjoyed the steak pie, which he described as divine. For dessert, we had apple pie with custard and Clootie dumpling with custard. On the second night, I opted for Eton mess, and he had the sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and custard. The prices were very reasonable — we had a high tea deal on the first night for just £12 for two courses. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, making it a great spot for a meal before heading to the festival theatre. There was soft background music, and the service was attentive. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

We were at drummond on Friday night and had a nice meal, as usual, we were never disappointed. all employees are so friendly and can not do enough for them. we would recommend a visit to anyone who goes to pitlochry.
