We ordered the lobster ravioli, the duck and the short rib. The basil pesto sauce in the lobster ravioli had a very gritty texture. The duck was extra chard and the whipped potatoes were chunky. The short rib didn’t have much taste. Some of the veggies were cooked all the way, others were raw. The gravy made it taste like hospital food. Again, the mash potatoes were chunky, no creamy like the menu stated. The staff was friendly. The waitress checked in on us a lot. They have a screen in the background playing cartoons, but it was hard to see the screen from where we were sitting. The environment around the screen was in a disarray which took away from the experience.
My wife Shirley and I went to Sweet Lula’s Friday night and from entering to leaving it was absolutely an AWESOME dinning experience. The reservation was on time, the waitress was on point perfect and the food was AMAZING!!! We had the salmon and Chicken Ricotta with BOTH dishes 100% delicious. The owners Anthony and Lula were most accommodating and along with our waitress we had a wonderful time and would recommend Sweet Lula’s to everyone.
