The food is super tasty and delicious, although the poached egg was slightly overcooked. The café has a very girly and quaint atmosphere and is spacious enough to accommodate a pram.
My team and I decided to have a quick brunch before a tournament at Hawkesbury Stadium. The Vintage Pantry, located in the quiet old town of Windsor on the outskirts of Sydney, offers a modern twist menu similar to 'Big Smoke'. I highly recommend this place for its extensive menu options that will satisfy any craving, and for the friendly staff who enhance the dining experience. I ordered the bruschetta, which exceeded my expectations with its tangy flavors from the olives and dressings. My friends enjoyed the pancakes (we opted for caramelized fig and ricotta, a delicious choice recommended by our waitress) and the breakfast burger. Both dishes satisfied our hunger after the drive, and we will definitely be returning. The staff even suggested we visit Macquarie Park, a nice spot by the river, to relax before our game. Thank you, The Vintage Pantry!
Neat hidden treasure!<br/ <br/ My wife found this one by mistake. Since it's only 25 minutes away we decided to head out on a weekend we had off together. <br/ <br/ The food, service, price was all great. It's a good spot for breakfast or brunch. Coffee was pretty awesome. <br/ <br/ Being a bigger fellow though, the seats didn't feel too supportive of my weight, guess I better watch how much I eat!
What a lovely place! One would 't expect an interesting cafe full of characters like this in such a shopping area. We almost missed it. The food is nicely presented and very healthy. You would not feel bloated after eating a lot as you may in other similar venues. The atmosphere is excellent. People seem to know each other, and so do their dogs.
Delicious! Both breakfast and hot chocolate! And do yourself a favour and get an Oreo scroll for the road! One of the best things I've ever tasted! Very busy on weekends so went during the week and easy to get a seat!
