Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries - Pittsboro

Eating was what you expect. My server served the entire restaurant for lunch itself. She was very polite and attentive to all and hopefully rewarded for her hard work.

When I arrived, I had to wait and my food was put aside. Of course, my food was cold when I finally came home to eat it. Toppings on my hot dogs were very little. A Dab of Chili etc.,Food used to much better than that.

Stopped by there recently, and it has reopened up under new management as of a few weeks back. Place was so clean it was not recognizable from what I had seen earlier this year. What a lot of hard work put into it to turn it over, I sat at the bar and could even see quite a few pieces of new equipment as well. Painted it too freshened up the place for sure. Its s shame that staff shortages are hurting everyone but those working were hustling as hard as they could. I just had to take these pics to make a review. Give it a try great food and great prices, friendly staff as well. I meant to leave this review earlier but just remembered today thinking about a cold custard to ward off this heat !!!

The atmosphere was truly amazing!!! gave you a look of an old school ice cream mobile diner!!! food was delightful!! i had the moose which consisted of a chicken, bacon and ranch sub and cheesy tot and my beau had a shrimp po boy and chilli cheese tots. food and the freshly squeezed lemonade was everything!!! i also would like to add that our server landin* or landen* was wonderful...exceptional customer service throughout our visit!! i'll definitely will be back for the next round!

As a South African time in the USA I have this dinner experience of great foods and great staff who treat their customers like family and I must say Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries, my hat goes to you all. From the moment I went to the restaurant, to the drinks and foods that I had and amazing company that I had with the staff while you all deserve more than 5 stars THANK YOU ALL for the unforgettable dinner experience, of which I always dreamed of as South Africans. I have this for the implementation of ANIMAL-FOOD and SERVICE-Garden. God bless you all.
