Barto's Idle Hour Steak House And Lounge

It was such a great little city experience! The staff was so friendly and attentive with us! The food was super- the frits were hot and fresh and the chicken was very crispy and juicy.

Friend said this place is great and is right. The fried chicken is really good, including prices. The 13 ounce rib eye is a good value at $16.99. I would describe the steak as a stove, which is good just not expecting a grilled type cut. Not sure if they offer it in more a grilled fashion, but since they do burgers, it seems likely that they would. On Friday our visit the live music started at 7:30. Beautiful dance floor with juke box and service was attentive.

This place has great chicken dinners!! Its hard to tell you which place is best, Chicken Annie's, Chicken Mary's, or Barto's I love all of them and highly recommend any of them. But Barto's is unique as they have a much wider variety of food on the menu. And they have a live band on weekend's usually.

Food was really good. I absolutely loved the feel of the room. All ages dancing, live country music (pretty good too). People just having a good time with their families and enjoying good food and cold beer.
