Anvil Brewing - Pittsburg

We decided to grab some drinks at this restaurant while passing through town. The establishment is spacious and well decorated, with an outdoor seating area available. They offer a variety of craft beers and a nice selection of liquors. Although there was supposed to be live music that night, unfortunately, there was none. They also have one pool table for entertainment.

This restaurant is a fantastic hidden treasure with delicious food. Don't miss trying the Ruben sandwich, it's amazing.

Ate here on October 21, 2022, Friday night, very quiet for a Friday evening. Pretty cool aesthetic, very rustic, and bar feeling but still inviting. I ate the brisket mac cheese and my wife had the Texas barbecue burger. Both were excellent and verysatisfying. I drank the double IPA from the brewery and it was excellent. Wife had the old fashion and it was OK she says. Mealcame to $50 for the two of us, Which included three drinks. Overall a pretty nice experience and will definitely come back

The restaurant had a nice casual atmosphere. However, I was surprised by the large serving of chips that came with the artichoke dip, as it seemed like a whole bag of chips. I felt uneasy about the potential waste since we couldn't finish them all. Additionally, I ordered a chicken soup but was served a roast soup instead, and the beef in the soup was dry. Although the bartender/waitress was new, I had to awkwardly ask her to confirm with the cooks if the soup was actually chicken. It was uncomfortable for me to raise this issue as a customer, but I felt it was necessary. The waitress later explained that even the cooks were unsure if it was chicken soup. The item was removed from the bill, and I ended up sharing my husband's sandwich instead of waiting for a new dish to be made. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, just uncomfortable and inconvenient. Despite this, I may still give the restaurant another chance in the future.

Absolutely loved it!!!! In their own world. Hidden behind hustle and bustle of downtown Pittsburg. Atmosphere took us back in time. Music great. FOOD? OMGosh!!!! Outstanding! We had their Reuben and fries. So delicious ????. Had enough left over to takehome. For one more meal AND snack later. Adorable waitress made me a Lemon Drop ???? drink . Sweet Sour. Again, yummy yummy????. With our meal we enjoyed their Lemon tea Lemon ????. Like the entire meal. Delicious, yummy ???? and fun. Can't wait togo back!! My husband is taking us back for the Live band night ????. Sure to be a blast!!!
