I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant for dinner and it was a great experience. The price per person was between $10-$20, which I found to be very reasonable. I would give both the food and service a 5-star rating. I highly recommend trying the Green Curry, Red Curry, Drunken Noodle, Spring Roll, Pork Bun, and Pork Dumplings.
I am comparing this restaurant to Noodlehead, which I believe sets the standard for Thai food. The portions here are larger and the food is almost as good, but not quite there yet. They offer a wider range of spice levels from 1 to 10. The service is excellent, but towards the end they subtly hinted for us to leave and the music suddenly got louder (not sure if this was intentional). The atmosphere is nice and the prices are reasonable, although slightly more expensive than Noodlehead. They accept cards, which is always appreciated, especially if you come from a place that only takes cash.
The food and service at this restaurant are absolutely authentic and wonderful, surpassing our expectations. The rib special is made from the owner's mother's recipe and the grilled seafood with curry veggie sauce was scrumptious. We can't wait to return soon to this hidden gem. Vegetarian options are available, and the restaurant is also kid-friendly. The service is for dining in and the meal type is dinner.
Everything is delicious, but my favorites are the homemade steamed dumplings, drunken lo mein, and khao soi with crispy chicken. The bartenders choice cocktail never disappoints and the pad thai is the best in the city if you ask me. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
