East End Cooperative - Pittsburgh

I absolutely love the co-op! It has everything I need, including a large bulk section with a great variety. It's my go-to place for all my vegan items!

I love their options, but honest must stay away bc it is not in my budget

Forget to eat when they have east end cooperative! Honestly, this is perhaps one of my favorite cooops. they make some amazing deli articles... so amazing that I went back twice during my visit to pa. I had only expected some options in the prepared food area, but the vegan options were plentiful. her mock thunfischsalat was impressive, made with twp, vegenaise and spicy. the potato salad was creamy and exceptionally delicious, and the vegan pasta salad was also impressive. in general, most foods fail in this department, but east end is characterized by jump and borders. I can't believe how tasty her business-made food was. the prices were also very reasonable if not low. if I lived in pa, I would join her coop and often go there.

When I lived in Pittsburgh, I frequently shopped at the Co-op. Later, I visited Whole Foods when it opened, but I found myself returning to the Co-op because it offers a variety of juices and has a vibrant atmosphere. The service is fantastic, and they always feature local products. I highly recommend this place; it's the best spot for shopping in the area!

I absolutely adore their hot food and salad bar. Although the selection is smaller, everything is so fantastic that you won't even miss the extra options, I promise. The pricing is very reasonable as well. However, I feel that grocery shopping here is not accessible for the average person. I've always believed that a vegetarian and vegan lifestyle should be available to everyone, not just the wealthy. This is my only major criticism of a place I otherwise love for its concept, the staff, and many other aspects.
