This is a fantastic local sandwich shop in North Oakland. I savored a half pastrami sandwich along with chicken soup, and it was just what I needed! The cashier was exceptionally friendly. I'm looking forward to returning and sampling something else on the menu!
The staff was friendly, the establishment was clean, and the food was delicious and straightforward.
I decided to try this small sandwich shop because they offered Boar's Head meat. I was taken aback by the price—over $40 for my order. I got three turkey sandwiches with provolone cheese on regular sliced bread and three bottles of water. Honestly, it was nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not worth the cost. I won’t be coming back; it was too pricey for what I received. Also, I felt sorry for the girl taking our order; she had two black eyes.
Can I give this place 6 stars? It's the best sandwich we've had since relocating to Pittsburgh from New Jersey!
