Garbarino's - Pittsburgh

What a hidden treasure in East Liberty! We began our meal with a caprese salad, and the mozzarella was incredibly creamy. The veal parmesan chop was enormous and was paired with a generous portion of pasta that could have been a meal on its own. My wife enjoyed a tomato cream pasta with meatballs, which she absolutely loved. We also appreciated that the pasta tasted homemade. The atmosphere was just right, with "The Godfather" playing on the TV at the bar, complemented by cozy lighting and rustic tables. We explore many restaurants throughout the city, and Italian is our favorite cuisine. Garbarinos will definitely be added to our regular dining spots!

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food and service were exceptional, and the ambiance was charming and cozy. We initially visited as a party of two, but we enjoyed it so much that we returned with a larger group of 12 family and friends. They were very accommodating! Make sure to arrive when they open, as it tends to get busy. We will definitely be coming back!

If you’re in Pittsburgh, you absolutely have to include this restaurant in your food adventures. The quality of the dishes and the portion sizes are outstanding. Don’t forget to take a cannoli home with you!

This family-style Italian restaurant certainly lived up to the other reviews we read. Food was well-prepared, generous, and delicious. Service was professional and friendly, and the setting was casual and comfortable. We were visiting from out of town, and will return to Garbarino's on our next visit.

Mama Mia! Just a fabulous little Italian eatery. Great service, personable, food is fantastico. The green salad is great for two, and the bolognese and meatballs are marvelous. Don't walk but run here for a great Italian meal, and ambiance.
