Kiku has been my go to sushi place for years. Lately, there has been a drop in the quality of fatty tuna in Chirashi. It had grayish discoloration around the edge that had strong fishy taste. I let it go the first time giving them a benefit of doubt but 3 weeks later again fatty tuna is gray around the edge with not so pleasant taste. I’m really torn because their Chirashi is my most favorite. I wish the owner could see this post and do some quality control. When that happens I will update my review. Edit Aug 2024: I gave Chirashi another try, and I was delighted to find that everything was incredibly fresh, including the fatty tuna. The quality issue has definitely been resolved! I’m thrilled to have my favorite dish back in my life.

One of the most authentic Japanese restaurants I have been to, and I have been to Japan! 10/10. If I had to say one bad thing it would be the wooden chopsticks. That is just me being nit-picky. The food, presentation and atmosphere were fantastic and our server Justin did a fantastic job. Will definitely make this a staple during our trips to PA!
