You place your order via a computer that displays all the available choices and enables payment. After ordering, you simply head to the restaurant you've selected and wait for your meal. Everything is à la carte and designed for quick service. My only downside is that it can be difficult to get a drink at the bar during lunchtime.
The restaurant is clean, offers a variety of lunch options, provides quick service, and has plenty of seating available.
We arrived at 1:30, but the staff member shouted that they were closed and promptly closed the gate in front of us. The website indicates they are open until 2 PM. They should either update their hours or avoid turning away paying customers.
Another service industry icon in my building in Pittsburgh. I've dined here a few times when Nickey's across the street was closed. However, since late October, I’ve visited three times only to find the pizza station closed. What could be more profitable and in demand than pizza? It was even closed for the entire week of Christmas! This just highlights how quiet it is downtown. It’s not enough to only operate during corporate catering hours. You really need to be open to make money. It must be nice to have store hours in the restaurant business.
I was highly impressed. The food selection is impressive, the prices are fair, and the service is speedy.
