Many items on the menu were unavailable, including Spanish beer. Despite the waitress promising us the last order of park bites, they never arrived. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant, even though the food we did receive was well-prepared and delicious.
I had a great meal at Pallantia several months ago, but at dinner last week there were several items on the menu that were unavailable and the service was very slow. Perhaps the March snow storm had an impact on food delivery and staffing? I was disappointed and will be reluctant to return.
After reading reviews that the service was slow, I was surprised that we walked in, right away asked them to start the seafood paella, as the reviews said it takes an hour. We walked in at ordered tapas, everything came one after another, with the paella right on time at the end, we walked out at our bill still under Of course we don't drink alcohol. Great place for food from Spain, we were celebrating our exchange student from Spains birthday, she thought the other Spanish restaraunts rice looked dry and as she said a color you wouldn't want to wear, she said this place had done it right
If you prefer your beer warm, a beautifully stocked bar with no bartender, pork that tastes like cheap general tsos, a waiter/host/food runner/busser in one, and a kitchen staff that hangs out in the dining room in their sweats, then you'll love this place. My wife and I enjoyed it so much, we couldn't wait to run to the restaurant down the street to tell them about the experience!
Menu had fewer options than the last several times we dined at Pallantia. We really enjoyed this restaurant in the past. The recent service was slow and no dessert was offered. The Paella is outstanding! The Patatas Bravavas was good, but much, much better past visits.
