Sad to say I’ve lived in Pittsburgh my whole 24 years of life and I just heard of Pamela’s about two weeks ago. Today I went with some friends. I got the Morning after breakfast special, eggs over medium, Bacon, and the chocolate chip banana hot cakes. With a side of corned Beef Hash. The food was to die for. So happy I got to have such good food. Their hot cakes were so delicious. Edges nice buttery and crunchy but inside was nice warm and soft. I didn’t need any syrup it was awesome. Great service as well. A must go to if you’re in town.
Was looking for a good breakfast in the Strip District. We found a gem. I would give a 10 star if possible. We arrived to a packed outdoor waiting area thinking we would have a long wait. Put a name on the list and within about 10 minutes we were seated. Greeted by some of the most friendly people! Once seated, a high spirited waitress met us within 1 minute. Upon giving our order, the food is on the table in about 6 to 7 minutes for our party of four. I have the western omelette and it has to be one of the best ones I’ve had ever. The rest of the staff constantly checking on your table to see if you need anything. What a great place to start your day!
Showed up around 930a on a Monday and had a 45 minute wait. Once we got seated service was super fast and attentive and food lived up to the hype.
I was told that it would be great and it certainly was! Outstanding pancakes all rolled up and filled with strawberries! Bacon, egg over easy and cheese on rye toast, BLT with crispy fries, great service! I'll go again just for the pancakes!
