Only place we will get our sausage buns, dinner rolls, and bread! Fresh made the day you get it! I always end up eating a roll, bun, piece of bread on the way home!
Every time I shop in the strip district, I try to get to Penn Mac EARLY before they sell out of Sanchioli Brothers Italian bread. This is undoubtedly the finest Italian bread in town, and honestly, the guys like Breadworks, Mancini 's, and Cellone 's come in a distant second. The crust is a perfect crunch, and the middle is so 'fluffy ' it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. My all-time favorite lunch at home is an assortment of Italian meats and cheeses from Parma Sausage and the Pennsylvania Macaroni Company, served with green olives, peppericini, sliced roma tomatoes and a large hunk of the perfect Italian bread from Sanchioli Brothers. Add a glass of red wine, and you 're in Italian heaven!
Found my new go-to for bread. Out of the way spot doing mostly wholesale but good bread and prices. Not sure why more places don't carry it.
