Sapporo Japanese Steak House

We were asked to wait over an hour to join a reserved party because they didn't want to serve just two people. When we asked if they could just prepare food for us and we sit at the bar, they said they don't serve food to people at the bar. Mind you, theyhad only two of their SEVERAL hibachi grills in use. I understand wanting to conserve resources, but are they going to continueturning customers away? They could have sat us, prepared the cooking area and served more people as the night went on. I am alsouncomfortable knowing that I would have been sat next to someone who reserved a space for a birthday party. If I were part ofthat party, I wouldn't want strangers placed next to me while trying to enjoy time with my family/friends.

Wr were there for a birthday party and everyone at the restaurant was wonder and the food was great!

Definitely recommend this place for dinner! The food was amazing and the hibachi chef was incredibly nice. Same with the hostess! Was very accommodating and super easy to make a reservation, even the day of. Large portions, plenty of options, greatservice. Family owned and lovely atmosphere. Overall very pleasant experience!

Been coming here off and on 20+ years. Just got turned down for just me and my son at 8:10 they are open till 9:30.. Benihana it is from now on

My food was horrible you could tell it was just prepackaged food thrown in a pan for a few minutes and then tossed in a tray. My food also had hair in it, it is important to note though that I got takeout and it could be different when cooked in front ofyou. Overall however my experience was horrid.
