You have a veranda overlooking the Erie Canal. It's a really nice location. I found the food inconsistent. Sometimes it is not cooked completely and sometimes they do a great job. Although this is a chain. There are different menus at different locations in Rochester. This place tends to have fewer items compared to its location on Monroe ave.

This is the second time that I was here and although I just ordered an appetizer (tourlou) this time, I ordered more (appetizer and entree) and his was great both times. This place is delicious. A little expensive, but the portions are huge. The staff is informed about vegan options and modifications. Falafel is delicious and not fat. Spinat Linguine is excellent and tasteful. The salads are huge and fresh. The Lenchili (half lens soup half chili) is so good and I can't replicate it no matter what I do! The outer seats are great and right next to the canal. We always stop here when we visit the in-laws.

Great vegan food, and plenty of options. Staff is usually very knowledgeable about menu, which has plenty of vegan options which are clearly marked. Huge portions! Everything I've had tastes great.
