This place is very nice. Air conditioning available, nice service, good local food and affordable. Will definitely visit again if we visit Piura. Dishes with plantain is a must try

Recommended by a cab driver Sort of odd off street in the back location OSB board tables Mamasitas in nice dresses cleaning. Langostinos chicarone was very good. Then ordered costillas with Tacu Tacu costillas were poor just a bit of fried pork but Tacu Tacu...was amazing

I tried many other restaurants in local cuisine here in the town of Piura. This is by far the best, great attention, not overpriced, good food. I tried the Tamcu tomasita. The best Tacu-Tac.

Stop at La Tomasita for lunch on the way to Chiclayo. We had ceviche mixto, cabrito and tamalito verde. Everything was good and our waitress was very nice. Would recommend this as one of the points to stop and have regional north food.

Given the high prices (starters and mains mainly between PEN 30 40 or higher) we have expected by far better quality. We ordered Ceviche and Causa de Cangrejo which were both ok but not great. We had great experience with Ceviche and Causa in...Lima nevertheless, we had high expectations as the North of Peru is also well known for its good seafood. The locals we spoke to also confirmed that this restaurant is really overpriced.
