El Cantarito - Placentia

I always enjoy whatever I choose from the menu. The chile verde plate, chile relleno, carnitas, and any of the burritos are our favorites. The burritos are so large that we usually take half of one home. We tend to get a little carried away with their delicious chips and salsa, too!

In ownership transition and currently have no alcohol sales to accompany their fantastic dishes. Authentic Mexican Food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Handmade tortillas. Outdoor dining an option. Taco Tuesday is a must. Ask about their Taco Challenge.

Father's day lunch. It's not a huge place so plan to wait if it's more then 2 people in your party. Wet burrito all day .

I don't understand why they have such bad service, I sat down and they didn't clean the table, hard chips, they often served them cold, the chilaquiles and enchiladas were very basic, the red chilaquiles/enchiladas sauce had no flavor.They take a long time.With all due respect, I think that the Menudo is from previous days, my son did not finish the chilaquiles, and my daughter did not finish the enchiladas.I never give bad reviews unless they deserve it, and I think they are very bad here.I almost forgot, Menudo had long hair, there was no juice, there was only tamarind water, no, no, no, chaos.Terrible service.

Great food, basic dining not fancy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Worth the trip.
