My favorite was the giant tiger prawns in a spicy sauce. The co-owner, Franc, is from Barcelona and really knows how to bring out the flavors in the dishes. I recommend preordering your meal a few hours in advance so they can get the freshest ingredients. The restaurant has a menu but they are also willing to cook other dishes upon request. While the restaurant is primarily for guests of the Francjoreen Resort, they are welcoming to others as well. I suggest visiting the restaurant beforehand to make a reservation and ensure you get a delicious meal straight from the market.
We stayed at the resort and ate here every day. The food was amazing, with a great mix of Spanish and Filipino cuisine. As a vegetarian, I had no trouble finding delicious options as they were able to accommodate any request. It was a pleasant surprise, as being vegetarian in the Philippines can be difficult. My friend, who is not vegetarian, also enjoyed a variety of dishes that were all perfectly cooked and delicious. We highly recommend the Spanish Omelette and the Paella. You must visit this restaurant when you're in Placer.
We had all fresh food options at this restaurant, with a wide variety of choices available. We didn't even need to look at the menu during our two-week stay. The portions were also very generous.
A local style resort, quiet and completely relaxing, fresh local seafood and Filipino Spanish cuisine, fresh and tasty. Staff very friendly always helpful... Nagarao Island very close to the boat and it is worth visiting, enjoy a very small island...with white sandy beach and no tourist at al, you can spend all day and eat fresh grilled fish made by local fishermen... An ewal fell from the undetected Philipinnes,, not at all expensive... Highly recomended
The hotel is perfect for a few days away from stress, in a small village near Place. A super quiet place. The rooms are very nice very clean and with a comfortable and nice bamboo beds. The owners and staff are very friendly and try...to help you and make your stay enjoyable at all times. If you go to Masbate you should not miss this place. Surrounded by small fishing villages where you can eat wonderful seafood and fresh fish for very little money. Enjoy the sunsets or simply relax and rest
