In other words, it's a nice place to visit. On entertainment, there was little, but everything else worked. Recommended.
Love this place! Great food especially the fruit treats!! I’m addicted to the blueberry dumpling ?? The view from the tables is beautiful too!
Such a treat to visit here during the Fall season, where apples are plentiful! Love coming here with my boyfriend and his family to pick out the variety of beautiful and delicious apples. All the apple treats are a delight too, from pies, to donuts...mmmm, I'm just getting hungry thinking about them!
FLAVOR (5/5): Came here for dessert after lunch and wanting to check out their products! They have free samples stands which I didn't try but it looked very popular! A lot of products that they produce from hot sauce to jams. They sell frozen pies and meats as well! I tried their donut ice cream sandwich, super sweet but super good. I also got their free apple cider, it was tart and sharp but really refreshing!INSTAGRAM WORTHY (5/5): It's a cute indoor outdoor market on the side of the road. If you cross the street to their picnic tables I saw an Instagram frame that was hung and you can take a picture behind! SERVICE (4/5): The are a lot of workers here! The girls that helped me at the pastry area were super nice. TAKEAWAYS: Only bad thing is I found a tick on my dog here, not sure if it was in the area or where. Pay cash for a small discount. Remember to check in one Yelp for your free apple cider!
If you're going for Mother's Day weekend, change plans. You will wait over 2 hours to get 1/2 of what they state on their Strawberry Festival ads. No Strawberry Pie. No Strawberry Cobbler. The Strawberry Sangria is almost a lie: its made from Blackberry Hard Cider and some imitation pink colored Strawberry syrup with a slice of strawberry in a 4-ounce plastic cup for $7.00 which is bad tasting. The Strawberry Fudge tastes bad, too. The worst part was biting into a Strawberry Dumpling and finding most of the strawberries had turned totten. Ugh! There is nothing special up there-just Boa's way to drum up business as cheaply as possible. I thought there would be something for the kids: face painting, Strawbeery Character, or SOMETHING. No! No more than a few Dollar tree strawberry signs. Too hot, not fun, and bad food. Not my way to spend this first great weekend of beautiful weather with family. Bad job, Boa. You failed!
