El Forastero Mexican Food - Placerville

Love the food and the prices are not as high as all the other mexican food like jimboys and other places ..and like the drive through for times I just can't go inside ..Parking: Plenty

El Forastero is unquestionably the best place in Placerville for Mexican food! The portions are very generous, and the food is always fresh. They've recently added new desserts to their menu, and the Churro Delight was absolutely delicious!

This place has truly rescued our dining experience in Northern California! After moving from Southern California, we searched for years to find good Mexican food without success, but then we discovered this restaurant. Now, we visit weekly!

Classic typical family run place. They have lengua! Good chips,salsa and beans. Quality ingredients prepared well. Good stop on the way from the Bay Area to Tahoe or the ski resorts
