Punto Peruano - Plainfield

The restaurant had great food and excellent service. We visited for dinner on a Thursday night without a reservation and were seated right away. The menu included pictures of almost every dish with English translations. We tried the bistec encebollado and shrimp chaufa, both of which were generously portioned and delicious. We ended up taking almost half of our meals home because the servings were so large. Overall, a very satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.

Incredible seafood dishes at this restaurant. My go-to is the Chupe de Marisco; you won't be disappointed. The service is excellent. Just a heads up, the tip is already included in your bill, but there is a spot to add an additional tip. Be careful not to tip twice accidentally.

The service, food, and atmosphere at this restaurant are all excellent. I highly recommend it.

I'm from California and never had Peruvian food. Didn't know what to expect, but I genuinely enjoyed everything. There were 7 of us, and we sampled each others meals. All so good! Thanks
