Joyful House - Plainfield

This restaurant is the perfect blend of Japanese and Chinese cuisines! The taste and quality of the food are exceptional; you won't be able to try all the dishes in one visit!

I had a delicious combo at the restaurant, and I can't wait to order it again!

Overall, the service was quite good. The staff who served our food were very friendly, which was a plus. However, I have to address my main concern: most of the food was very dry, as if it had been sitting out for more than a few days. The fried rice was extremely greasy, and the dumplings I ordered were typically doughy, with some even being undercooked. While I can appreciate juicy dumplings, these were unfortunately the worst I’ve had. It was quite a disappointment. I would prefer store-bought dough over the excessively thick handmade version they offered. Not all the food was bad, but there were definitely hits and misses, making the experience very inconsistent.

I had years of great experiences with them, eating is always delicious and timely. I would highly recommend!

Wonderfully flavorful food that not many places in the area can create. My new go to since my old place is just too far since moving. If I'm in the Lincoln, RI area, I go to Asia Grille. I live much closer to Joyful House now and am very happy I found it. This is as close to my old standby as I've been able to find, and it is extremely similar, so I couldn't be more delighted. Delicious food at a great price makes it so much better
