Luigi's Pizza Pasta - Plainfield

Just tried this for the first time, it was good! Everything came out as ordered, deep dish was unlike any deep dish I have tried before, very unique, but good. Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5

Wow, just wow! I can't even explain how amazing this is—it's a light pan pizza! If that makes any sense! This has become my new favorite pizza! Just wow!

If you enjoy cheese on your deep dish pizza, I wouldn't recommend this place. It honestly seemed like they didn’t put any cheese on it at all. My entire family wondered if there was even cheese on the pizza. It felt more like crust, sauce, and toppings, without that signature cheesy layer. I've never had a deep dish without cheese, and the price was comparable to any other well-known pizza spot in the area.

It wasn't what I expected when I received the pizza; it was soggy and overly salty. I called them to express my disappointment, but all they said was that I hadn't been clear about how I wanted the crust. They mentioned that they usually don’t cook it very much unless instructed to. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

I had read the reviews before placing my order, but I decided to go ahead anyway, and I'm so glad I did! The pizza was superb, the wings were perfect, and the crab jalapeño poppers are a must-try!
