Steak 'n Shake - Plainfield

I feel like a plädoyer, but this review seems to reflect more corporate than local decisions. the doors were closed and you can not eat around 3 o'clock in the afternoon. more question? Don't shake. Don't shake and steak a shake. what a sad thing. I hate to see this once big brand running into the floor. I saw lot of locked places on Thai trip.

A lovely driving feeling. slower and sad service. they could not shake on that day. we ordered 3 burgers and they packed 2 burgers in the bag. they were not busy. there were only 3 cars in the car-dru line at the time we were there. we were the second car in the line.

It was a bit to eat with the road to home and this place was pathetic. no shakes, no hot pirates, and they had to pay with exact changes. how does a steak and shake not shake? would not recommend this particular location ever!

This was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. My family walked into a completely empty restaurant, no employees were seen for the first 10 mins. We placed our order on the kiosk, which is a horrible idea to force customer to have to place orders manually. The floors we so sticky that all of our shoes sounded like we were walking on gum. We place the order then 3 employees run out of the back room to start cooking. We go look for a table, and every single table was nasty and sticky. My wife had to clean the table with wipes before my kids could even sit. Then we wait for our food to come out. We get our food and all of the fries are cold, all four orders! I order a cup of chili, paid extra for cheese and onions, and it looked like watery brown soup. No beans, no meat, just brown liquid with cheese and onions. Best part was the chili was cold!! One of my son's were so grossed out with the whole experience, he requsted to go outside, where it was cleaner. I would pass on this location until they get their act together.

Worst yet 45 min wait. And that was dine in where now not only is there noone taking orders or even bringing the food and drinks to you but they ask for tips upon checkout ????? what a joke wont be wasting the time or money here again.. If i could rate lower i Absolutely would.
