Chicken Coop - Plainwell

The service at this place is terrible. Today i stopped and purchased a 4 piece chicken dinner and as i was watching the person get my meal ready i could tell it was not going to be good. He had no french fries to put in my meal let alone any being cooked and he try's passing my meal to me this way. I told him he didnt give me any fries and he flat out lies to me he did so i opened up my meal and showed him. He tells me he must have forgot but how could you forget when there is no fries period even up or cooking.

Eating is good, but the huh becomes smaller and smaller. prices were significantly increased

I visited this establishment on Friday October 3, 2014 around 8:45pm and ordered two 10pc. nuggets. Being I haven't eaten all day, I consumed both. Around 10:45pm I began to have some stomach pains. Around 11:45pm I began to feel worse and got sick. By around midnight I felt dizzy and had a slight fever. On Saturday October 4, 2014 I called the business to inform them of the occurrence and to suggest they keep an eye on the cooking time of their product. The lady took down my name and said she would give it to Jim and to come in and talk to him Mon between 11 and 2. Being that I work from 6-3 this wasn't possible so I called Jim at around 12:30 on Monday October 6 and without asking for any sort of refund I explained to him the situation to which he replied that anything in my system for 24hrs could still give me food poisoning which I understand to be true but then said it to be rare that food poisoning could take effect as quickly as it had which is false. The customer service I received after been given food poisoning was ridiculous! I believe that word of mouth is the best form of advertising being good or bad. Had I been given better understanding and acknowledgment of the happenings, I would not be writing a negative review. Had this man owned up to the mistakes and lack of sanitation in the facility, I would not be upset.

On Friday nights they have all you can eat fish and it is amazing we love it! But any night, chicken and/or fish is always wonderful! All the sides are real good and seem to be nice and fresh. I really love their coleslaw!!! Oh my gosh,,, now that's just what the right thing to always hit the spot! My husband loves their gravy, I even have to admit, it is!

A quick lunch stop at the Plainwell location because we had a coupon and WOAH my life will never be the same. It may be simple, but they know how to fry chicken and fish like nobodies business. The fish fillets were thick and hot; just the right amount of batter hugging meaty deliciousness. The chicken strips were tender and juicy. Mac and cheese was perfectly basic. And the sweet potato fries were crisp and hot. Fast food cooked to order, brought to your table hot and fresh.. life doesn't get much better. Next time I need comfort food there will be no question about where to go because, man do those geniuses at Chicken Coop know the way to my heart.
