Wife's food came out cold and dry chicken pacata and I had chicken parm with ziti dry very little red sauce chicken over cooked bad and manager never came out to talk to us just took it off the bill poor management should have come out to talk to us sad the girl that took our order was very nice and polite and sad about the kitchen and apologies for the kitchen and manager that didn't show there face
We have lived in Plaistow for about six years, we eat out quite often. I have to say there are a lot of fantastic restaurants in the area, this is not one of them. The food is sub par quality at best. The staff is extremely slow and unfriendly to borderline rude. I’d speak on management, but I can’t because the manager completely ignored us. He did however address the table next to us, who also had a complaint. So last night after an extremely long and busy week we decided to dine in at PPP. In hindsight I wish we went to ricks cafe in Kingston. Or literally anywhere else. Even the longhorn down the street is by far leaps and bounds better than PPP. Whatever we sit down in the bar area. It’s cute it’s clean can’t be that bad right?! Nope, wrong. I ordered a Cobb salad with no chicken extra avocado. You might think it’s strange, at least our waitress did. As she pressed me to order meat on my salad and had a rude tone when I stood my ground on my decision. Now, I manage a kitchen on a daily basis. ITS HOT. Some days I don’t even eat in the afternoon because I’m too hot and I definitely don’t have the ability to eat anything heavy. We wanted over an hour and a half from start to finish and I ate nothing. She served me a pile of bruised avocados and had a huge attitude when I sent it back. She tried to explain that it’s not rotten, just bruised. I’ve seen avocados before, but thanks for the explanation as to why I shouldn’t be concerned.”It’s not rotten it’s just bruised” to that I should have relied AWESOME! I’ll just pay $18 for lettuce and bruised avocados! No, no one wants to sit for an hour and a half to receive low quality food. Additionally, when I asked for the check the waitress shortly responded, that’s what I’m doing. Oh, ok! Looked like you walked past our table six times to ask other customers about their meals. That’s why I asked for the bill. Because it had been an hour and a half and I still hadn’t eaten. It was almost 9pm before I got home and made myself a salad. I will refrain from endorsing this establishment. How disappointing.
It is rare these days to have both great service and exquisite dining that feels made with love, with affordable prices. Amazing experience and must try, promise you'll go back!
I have watched this place over the last year. Remarkable consistency of top quality meals, in HUGE portions. Just had Tour of Italy Eat there once and you will do it again and tell all your friends.
