Le Cote Cour - Plan-d'Aups-Sainte-Baume

We stumbled on this delightful restaurant which looks nothing from th street but out the back is an oasis from the heat of the day in a vine covered courtyard. And the staff were SO friendly and even though our French wasn't great and their English wasn't much better we were treated very well indeed and managed to order some fantastic food. The rose wine of the house was exceptional and they brought us lashings of ice to keep it chilled down. The truffle pasta was to die for and the steak with pepper sauce was oh so delicious!We sat and lingered for ages in a perfect place for lunch. Highly recommend and not expensive at all!Thank you!

Too greasy_common ingredient not the best quality you might find__still pretty clean place with an open kitchen

Good food, good ambiance, good music, and .. famous chief from the French version of the TV program Top Chef :)
