Campisi's - Plano

Dined in on Sat 4/13. Not very busy but service was not great. Servers not on the floor much but in the back. No manager seemed to be around. When served the plate was hot, but the Lasagne was only lukewarm. I wondered if it had been pre-prepared and held in the fridge or frozen. My wife had a chicken and pasta dish she said was great. And hot. Campisi's has been around a long time but you can't thrive on past reputation.

Other than it being incredibly cold and dark in the restaurant, $31 for a medium pizza is outrageous. They even charge for silly stuff like ranch dressing which is incredibly annoying. Decent pizza but nowhere near worth the price. I'd recommend going elsewhere. This is for the Granite Park location

Food was fresh and good, service friendly and was offered a fountain drink while I waited for free! Will go back!

Food was good; the service was passable; the restaurant was what you'd expect in a strip-mall location. It was exactly what I'd expect from suburban Italian.

I have been a Campisi 's fan for almost 10 years and loyally visited the original location on Mockingbird. This is the 2nd time we have placed a To Go order from the Plano location and have been disappointed. All items were just ok . The Soprano was bland and could have used more sauce. Not sure we will visit or order again.
