The ribs were cooked to perfection—absolutely excellent! The rumors might just be right; these are the best grilled ribs in Texas. As for the delivery, the service was polite and friendly.
The standout feature of this restaurant is their incredible coleslaw, even though I'm not a big fan of most barbecue. Sorry, everyone! However, kids eat free, and the side dishes are fantastic.
The brisket was fatty and seemed to have been chopped haphazardly rather than sliced properly. However, the tea and waffles were fantastic.
It's unfortunate that the highlight of my meal was the Diet Coke. I've dined at Dickey's several times in the past, but this was by far the worst experience I've had. I really wish I had chosen somewhere else. The brisket was flavorless and extremely dry; even with sauce, it was tough and hard to chew. The pulled pork was also bland, which is surprising given how fatty it was. I ordered a side of dry wings, and they were just as disappointing—dry, hard to chew, and lacking in flavor. The turkey breast was the best meat I tried, but it tasted more like processed slices than actual turkey. On a positive note, the staff member who attended to me was very friendly.
