I had the chance to dine at this restaurant a week ago. If you're looking for delicious Cuban food in Plano, this is the place to go. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with beautiful wall decorations and pictures of Cuba. The food was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be returning soon!
This Florida girl in Texas no longer has to fly home for her Cuban and Latin favorites. From fragrant and perfect ropa vieja to perfectly crisp but still tender vaca frita and write home about cubanos, this is a place where you can tell there is love and history in the kitchen. Did I mention that I could just eat the congri for the rest of my life and be happy? Things to know before you go: -They are closed on Sundays (and sometimes when the family needs a holiday) -They are family run and small, so they have an order on the app from your table program to reduce the amount of staff it takes to make things work. -If you?re new to Latin cuisine, ask questions! The owners and staff will love to tell you about how their menu evolved. -Don?t leave without a cafecito and a flan to go, no matter how full you are.
The food is very delicious but the service pretty bad. I had to bus my own table and the waiter could never be found when he was needed.
This is a gem! Delicious pork, yucca, beans, all of it! I had the Cuban sandwich and it was so tasty. This place is very gluten free friendly as well. If you are in the area this is a must go for good food.
