Applebee's - Plant City

During our visit to the Lakeland Plant City area for the flea market, we tried several restaurants, but unfortunately, they were all quite unclean. Thankfully, we discovered this place, where the food was delicious and the service was excellent.

The restaurant was extremely clean, and the food was fresh. Our server, Adela R., was incredibly sweet and polite.

I visited Applebee's and was warmly welcomed by an ROTC military commander and their troops, who expressed their gratitude to my husband and me for our military service. It's a rare experience to receive such heartfelt thanks and appreciation for our sacrifices. Only God knows the challenges we have faced over the past 30 years. We are truly grateful to Applebee's! Their support for veterans lifted our hearts and spirits.

ROCKY was my server today, and she did an excellent job. I mentioned that I wanted to upgrade my meal with shrimp for an extra dollar, which I had forgotten to say initially. She provided us with extra napkins without us needing to ask, took our food order correctly, and refilled my drinks without me asking. The food was spot on as well. Overall, it was a fantastic lunch with my child today. Thank you for the great experience!

The restaurant isn't bad, but I wasn't impressed with the menu options due to my stomach issues and lack of healthy selections. The only potato choice is mashed potatoes with the skins included, and French fries, which I can't have because I need peeled potatoes. There are too many pasta dishes, and the only vegetable option is broccoli, which I also find difficult to digest. However, for those without dietary restrictions, there seems to be plenty to choose from. It just doesn't work for me.
