Mi Casa Mexican - Plant City

After working hard moving a friend of my boyfriend, we were so hungry! The place we had planned to go was closed for a private party. Well, we decided to do Mexican food over seafood and that's how we ended up at MI Casa. Needless to say, the food, of course, was excellent. Sadly, the waitress was either overworked or new, but she wasn't bad either. Some days are just tough on us best to you hun. The decorating was lovely, absolutely, yet no music to add to an over lighted overpriced meal even though it was good. I'm an ambiance person when in a place that has such positive potential. I find it a shame to see it wasted in a numbers game. It's not all about

Great authentic Mexican food. Fish tacos are on point. Good Guacamole and Queso.

I went at rush hour so the place was very busy (two large parties going on). The staff was very friendly, apologized for the wait time. Their non-spicy food is spicy to me, but still very well made.

Food great. Service, as usual, was extremely slow and uncomfortable. Chicken tortilla soup is still my favorite.
