Whistle Stop Cafe - Plant City

If I could give 10 stars I would. Small local with homemade delicious food. Piano music playing in the background. Met the owner and had a pleasant conversation. A must stop for lunch.

Very friendly and happy staff, delicious sandwiches with fresh made bread. Wonderful atmosphere set in a historic pharmacy. A man was playing the piano on a Wednesday during lunch. The Whistle Stop Special is a hot sandwich with corned beef and roast beef on fresh baked NY style rye bread. It was great.

Wanted to love it, sat for 10 minutes and no one came by or even greeted us. A table walked in as we still sitting and got service asap. Went down the street to Normas instead.

Amazing soups and sandwiches. Been going here for over 20 years. Marty is such a great person and does a great job running the place.The feel of the place has kept its old-timey vibes and really embraced trains and being next to the tracks.It can get really busy at lunch and need a couple more servers.

Loved visiting this old traditional Cafe in downtown Plant City! Jeremy did a great job as our server. Our salads came out quickly, and we're very good. Loved the decor. Stayed for desserts!
