Whistle Stop Cafe - Plant City

We were here a few years ago with some friends of us and had a great time so we decided to bring our son and his family here while we were in town. This time was even better than last time and that says a lot. Marti, the owner, waited for us. She was very friendly and attentive to our grandson, brought him a special seat and a toy. Our food came fast and was very good. We had veggie taco salad, beef salad and burgers. Everything was perfect. We will definitely take the hour trip to get back here more often. Thanks to Marti for our meal more than just eating something. You're great!

What a blessing this place was and is for those who stop. The owner is a wonderful woman of God who gives much love to homemade food. Not to mention the amazing kind of soul that plays piano music for customers while they eat. You won't be better than Whistle Stop Cafe

How the waitress helped each other was nice to see. I could have stayed all day. They make their bread fresh a big plus. You had a person playing the piano live, he was great by the way. The atmosphere and all small Knick-Knacks to see, it's a must by when you're in the area. I swear.

I love this place absolutely. The atmosphere is so calming and retro. You go to a gentleman who ticks the ivory and plays piano. Trains and old license plates and car parts align the wall as decor. The owners are so on earth people always welcome and friendly. It is a family business and you also feel like a part of your family. Marti, always has a warm smile and she greets you as if she knows you all your life. Her sister, Carmen, is the cook, and I haven't found a dish that I didn't like. Your bread is freshly baked in the house every day. My favorite menu options are their All Aboard Sandwich and the loaded potato soup. If you are ever in the Plant City area, I advise you to stop and take a bite. You won't regret it!
