Upon entering La Bamba Mexican Restaurant in Plantation, I was instantly transported back to the early 90s. The atmosphere, while nostalgic, felt a bit congested and overly colorful. A more open space with toned down hues could enhance the dining experience. The restaurant was bustling with customers on a Tuesday night, which initially raised my concerns about the quality of the food. However, these worries were quickly dispelled. The meal was a pleasant surprise it may not have been the best Mexican cuisine I've ever tasted, but it was undeniably fresh and flavorful. A highlight of our visit was the service. Our server was exceptionally helpful and attentive, a remarkable feat considering the crowded setting. She frequently checked in on us, ensuring our dining experience was smooth. In summary, La Bamba provides a good dining experience with its fresh, flavorful food and excellent service. While the ambiance could use some updating, the overall experience merits a thumbs up. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more of their dishes.
Trying to get the waitresses attention led me to actually yell to her twice. My friends meal was brought out with my fajita sides. 2 other tables received entire meals while I waited and waited and waited till I yelled for her attention to get the rest of my supreme fajitas,,,chicken, beef shrimp, 2 shrimp to be exact. I am not a fan
This is a great place to gather your friends and family to just have a margarita, great food and hang out. There’s no rush by the staff to get you out and if you tell them you’re staying awhile they will make sure you feel comfortable and your drinks are full!
Always delicious, we moced further north and we still drive down to get their food.
