Mandarin Village - Plantation

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I was let down by the fries. They appeared to be either old and reheated or simply overcooked, and they had a greasy taste. I never let my fries get to that color when I cook them at home! The person who took my order was friendly, but tried to justify the appearance of the fries. They were not enjoyable to eat. He mentioned that the owner was not there and offered to make a fresh batch, but I did not have time to wait. Overall, I was very unsatisfied with my meal and it is unlikely that I will return. I gave the restaurant two stars for effort, but this kind of quality is not acceptable.

The food was outstanding and truly stole the show during the meal.
