Prices weren't too bad and service was attentive. They add a discretionary 15% tip to the bill which we thought a little steep though. We were given the option of smoking or non-smoking area and choosing non-smoking, were sat upstairs. It was very quiet up there but AC was nice - guess maybe smoking is more popular? The lobster looked great and you could see them alive in the water though we didn't try any. Would recommend for good seafood.
We went to Blue Lobster for a birthday celebration and ordered the Seafood For 2 and some cocktails. The food was fresh and cooked perfectly. The lychee martini was perfect and refreshing!!! Only giving 4 star because of upstairs was a bit warm and service was a bit slow. Overall would recommend to take in while in Playa Del Carmen!
I had the surf and turf. Tenderloin as great and cooked as requested. Lobster tail was small but tasty. Next time I will be ordering the lobster separately for a bigger portion.
Great Food. Great Service. Servers are very attentive. Food was warm and delicious. Menu in English and Spanish.
Visited Blue Lobster recently and it was excellent! Lobster tails brought to the table, pick the one you want and how you want it prepared and that's it. Simple. The lobster was prepared to perfection and served with veggies and rice with drawn butter and a delicious buttery garlicky cilantro sauce to die for.The Lobster pasta was also off the charts. The only downfall is the heat, this time of year. No A/C. They do have fans and ice cold beers (good selection) as well as cocktails. Highly recommend BLUE LOBSTER!
