Restaurante ubicado en una calle perpendicular a la Quinta Avenida, lo que lo hace más tranquilo. Los camareros son amables y acogedores. La comida es abundante, y el ceviche de pulpo es un deleite. Un detalle al final de la comida si pagas en efectivo: ¡te regalan un pequeño cóctel a base de tequila, sombrero y una foto tomada por el camarero! Un lindo detalle.

Once again we treated ourselves to an amazing dinner at Carboncitos. We did the Lobster Flambe as well as the Filet Flambe. Both of which were prepared right at our table. It was absolutely delicious. We started with the sauce wheel and chips with an icy cold beer. This is a must. Perfect way to start the meal. We can't wait to get back to Carboncitos. See you soon!

This is hands down the best, most authentic Mayan restaurant in Playa del Carmen. My family looks forward to our visit here every year where you will be treated to delicious food at reasonable prices with exceptional service. At Carboncito's the servers deliver margaritas and sangria to your table on their heads and Mayan coffee is an exquisite after-dinner delight, that is a show all on it's own. If you want to experience the Mayan Riviera as it used to be, this is the only restaurant to transport you back in time to when Playa del Carmen was an unknown, hidden gem. If I could only visit one restaurant in Playa del Carmen, it would be Carboncito's every time. It's like coming home. I never go to playa without stopping for a meal here. Pick any item you want and you won't be disappointed. For those nights when you can't choose, go ahead and order a platter and have a chance to try a little bit of everything. Good luck picking your favorite!
