Eatacate - Playa del Carmen

Whilst fueling up at the gas station this colourful place caught our eye. Having been very disappointed with the Mexican food offerings in Playa itself we were delighted to find this. It was full of Mexicans enjoying their lunch. Ok, the view of the gas station is not pretty but the inside is. You order at a little kiosk from the smiliest waitresses ever. They spoke just enough English to help us order from a menu in Spanish. Delicious fruit juices, smoothies and milk shakes. Food prices were cheap! Lovely clean and hygienic kitchen and you can watch your order being completed. Wonderful service. Do not miss this gem. My family loved it.
