Estia Cocina Griega - Playa del Carmen

Great food! Fantastic Greek salad! High quality products. Is one of my favs around the area! But definitely the best in Playa del Carmen! Can't be missed!

We live in Playa and have been coming over the last few weeks and have tried a lot of their menu and must say we can't get enough. Do yourselves a favor and go out of your way to come eat here while in Playa.

We were the only couple there, but off the back of the reviews was looking forward to it, the Greek salad was okay, so much dried herbs that's all you could taste though.Souvlaki chicken with pittas and tzatziki. Pittas were soggy wholemeal pocket breads due to them being topped with the fatty chicken, tzatziki out of a long life bottle. Salad with bacon bits??! This is Greek? No sign of black pepper here, double dose of salt instead on everything. Fish in an overly sweet lime dressing, nothing Greek here..Big sign above table listing drinks.. however no beer, no house wine.. ? But they're on the list?! Greek owner asks how is your meal, when I say it's not good politely, be shrugs his shoulders and walks away, letting the Mexican waiter listen to my concerns while he drinks his glass of red by the bar.With 5 staff and the Greek owner, they struggled with one couples simple order. I don't understand why IF the past reviews Are genuine, why the response and at attitude by the owner was I couldn't care less. My meal was discounted for the main dishes, I explained some of my issues to a the waiter however when you know nobody cares it's pointless. My evening was lost, don't yours be.

Deambulando en busca de cena, tomé la Avenida Aviación y me encontré con este restaurante pequeño pero con una atmósfera agradable y tranquila; pedimos con mi hijo, como entrada el calamar relleno de hierbas y queso feta, realmente rico. Como cena pedimos el Gyro de cordero (en orden), la carne en su punto, muy suave y de exquisito sabor, el tzatziki igual, fresco y delicioso. El agua de pepino es muy rica (preferiría fueran más grandes las bebidas).El servicio no es rápido, pero vale la pena por el sabor, la atención de nuestro mesero muy amable. No es precisamente económico, pero es bueno :)

La comida es deliciosa no es barato pero nada excesivo tampoco, muy acorde la relación precio -calidad , los postres son lo máximo y la atención del mesero muy buena , el lugar aunque no es de lujo es agradable ,tal vez lo único no tan bueno es el tamaño de las bebidas son muy pequeñas y que no te ponen nada de cortesía como pan o algún Dip pero todo lo demás está muy bien de buen tamaño las porciones y de muy buen sabor todo ,he probado varías cosas y todo me ha encantado .
